Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Edith Road in Hammersmith.
One room on the fourth floor of the four-storey property was destroyed by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's 999 Control Officers received the first call to this incident at 1746 and mobilised crews from Hammersmith, Fulham, Chelsea and North Kensington fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1900.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by London Fire Brigade and Metropolitan Police Service.
