Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled a terraced house fire on Tradescant Road in Vauxhall.
The entirety of the first floor and parts of the second floor of the three-storey building were destroyed by fire. One adult suffering minor smoke inhalation was treated on-scene by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade was called at 0223 and the fire was under control by 0525. Crews from Lambeth, Clapham, Peckham and surrounding fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
