Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Langham Street in Westminster.

One man was rescued by crews wearing breathing apparatus. He was treated on scene and taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service.
The Brigade's 999 Control centre received their first call at 1528 and deployed crews from Soho, Paddington and Kentish Town fire stations. The incident was over by 1621.
