Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a flat fire on Kensington Court in Kensington.
Half of a ground-floor flat in a converted terraced house was damaged by fire. Three people were taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
The Brigade’s Control Officers were called at 2047 and mobilised crews from Chelsea, Kensington, Paddington and Hammersmith fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 2152.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by halogen spotlights placed too close to furniture.
