Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a terraced house on Blakesware Gardens in Edmonton.
Half of the ground floor and part of the loft were damaged by the fire. The first floor was destroyed by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by resistive heating within an electrical socket.
Control Officers took the call at 0034 and mobilised crews from Edmonton, Enfield, Southgate and Tottenham fire stations to the scene. The incident was over for firefighters at 0200.
