Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a house fire on Rushmore Road in Hackney.
Part of the roof of a terraced house was damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of three calls about the fire at 1132 and mobilised crews from Stoke Newington, Holloway, Hornsey and Stratford fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1228.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and caused by hot works carried out on the roof.
