Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a mid terrace house on Almond Way in Norbury.
Part of the ground floor and a small part of the first floor was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
Control Officers took the call at 1240 and mobilised crews from Norbury and Croydon fire stations to the scene. The incident was over for firefighters at 1339.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
