Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters are tackling a fire at a manufacturing unit in Canning Town.
A small part of the roof was damaged and the building's ducting was destroyed by the fire.
One of the Brigade's 64-metre turntable ladders was used at the scene to help fight the fire from above.
Control Officers took the first of six calls at 1025 and mobilised crews from Poplar, Millwall, East Ham and Homerton fire stations to the scene. The incident was over for firefighters at 1117.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
