Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters have been tackling a fire at a workshop on Cable Street in Shadwell.
A small part of the workshop was damaged by the fire. There have been no reports of any injuries.
Control Officers took the first of 16 calls at 1204 and mobilised crews from Dowgate, Millwall, Islington and Soho fire stations to the scene. The incident was over for firefighters at 1434.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
