Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a hotel on Wrights Lane in Kensington.
Part of a sauna room on the lower ground floor was damaged by the fire. Around 150 people left the building before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The fire is believed to have been accidental and was caused by radiated heat from a sauna.
Control Officers took the call at 1859 and mobilised crews from Kensington, Chelsea, Hammersmith and Fulham fire stations attended the scene. The incident was over for firefighters tat 1941.
