Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters responded to a fire affecting a row of terrace properties on Burke Close in Roehampton.
The ground floors of three houses were damaged by fire. Fourteen people left their homes before the Brigade arrived. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade's Control Officers were called at 0919 and mobilised crews from Richmond, Chiswick, Fulham, Battersea, Wandsworth and surrounding fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 1157.
The cause of the fire is believed to have been electrical.
