Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a fire outside an office building on Uphall Road in Ilford.
One van and a car were destroyed by the fire. Half of two cars were damaged and a small part of two further cars were damaged. A small amount of damage was also caused to the ground and first floor external facia and windows, the guttering at roof level and the external facia of a shed. A small part of a single storey workshop at the rear of the property and a car within the workshop were also damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
Control Officers took the first of 19 calls at 0912 and mobilised crews from Ilford and Barking fire stations to the scene. The incident was over for firefighters at 1047.
The cause of the fire has been recorded as undetermined.
