Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a house fire on Grove Road in Barnes.
Most of the ground floor in a three storey house were destroyed by fire, part of the first and second floors were also damaged by the blaze.
The Brigade's 999 Control officers received their first call alerting them to the fire came at 0917 and they deployed crews from Richmond, Fulham, Chiswick and Hammersmith fire stations to the scene. The incident was over by 1026.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
