The Mayor has issued a direction to London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA) as follows:
1. To adopt by 16 September 2013 the version of the draft Fifth London Safety Plan 2013-2016 attached as Appendix A to the report of the Commissioner for Fire and Emergency Planning ("the Commissioner") titled "Fifth London Safety Plan" which was presented to the Authority at its meeting on 18 July 2013, as its final Fifth London Safety Plan for all purposes;
2. By 16 September 2013, to authorise the Commissioner to take such action as necessary to publish and implement the final Fifth London Safety Plan.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade, said:
“The Authority has now received and is considering the Mayor’s direction.”
