We’ve changed the face of our headquarters to highlight our diverse workforce.
The front of Union Street, SE1 headquarters now proudly displays 50 members of staff from all over the organisation.
The design shows off the branding for our Safer Together strategy, an ambitious 10 year inclusion strategy that aims to make London Fire Brigade the most diverse and inclusive fire service in the country.

Under the plan we will take an even more proactive approach to bullying and harassment and will seek to further increase the diversity of our workforce from a range of backgrounds.
To apply to be a London firefighter you need to be 17.5 years old, have a full driver's license and a permanent London address for the past 12 months, although there are some exceptions, for example, for those serving in the armed forces
London Fire Commissioner Dany Cotton said: "The eye-catching design on our HQ looks fantastic and it is great to have our diverse workforce featured who are playing such a key role in protecting Londoners.
"We serve one of the most diverse cities in the world and our staff need to reflect London’s communities, which in turn will help us break down barriers .
"The Brigade has come a long way but we still need to do more to persuade women and people from different backgrounds and cultures to consider the fire service as a viable career option.
"Our 10 year inclusion vision shows we are serious about making the Brigade the most diverse fire service in the country."
The unveiling of the new design coincides with the Brigade's latest recruitment campaign.
