Earlier this month people from across the Brigade and their families gathered in Westminster Cathedral for our annual Christmas carol service.
Guests braved the chilly weather to enjoy the sight of a vintage fire engine and listen to some Christmas classics from the Salvation Army band.
Inside the Cathedral guests were treated to a performance by the LFB choir and readings from the London Fire Commissioner Andy Roe, Baroness Twycross Deputy Mayor for Fire and Resilience, much-loved actor Robert Lindsay, Mark Hardingham QFSM Chair of National Fire Chiefs Council, Pamela Oparaocha Deputy Assistant Commissioner and Jackie Nielsen Volunteer Cadet Instructor.
This festive event is an opportunity to thank our colleagues for their hard work, commitment, and dedication through the past year. And importantly, it’s also an opportunity to thank the partners and loved ones, who have supported us.
As you can imagine - it’s a big event to pull off! So thanks to the LFB events team, the LFB fire cadets, stewards and volunteers, MSA Bristol for their support, and everyone else who makes this night so magical!
