Firefighters have issued a warning about using portable stoves indoors after being called to a house fire on Tankerton Terrace in Croydon yesterday evening (Wednesday,18 October).
Twenty people were evacuated last night after a fire broke out in a nail salon on Church Road in Stanmore. Firefighters evacuated residents from flats above the shop.
