Home Office Grant Fund Expenditure Plan

In September of 2020 LFB received two grants from the Home Office totalling £5.5 million. These grants are to be utilised to bolster LFB Protection activities and to assist in carrying out the Building Risk Review (BRR). A third grant of £3.9 million was received from the Home Office in April 2021. This report sets out proposed plan to allocate a spend against the grants.

Annual Governance Statement 2020-21

Regulations 3 and 6 (1) of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 require the London Fire Commissioner (LFC) to have sound systems of internal control and to demonstrate this by publishing an Annual Governance Statement (AGS). The AGS for 2020/21 is attached as Appendix 1 to this report.

Premises Asset Replacement Works for Projects in 2022-23 and 2023-24 - London Fire Brigade Estate

This paper seeks approval to undertake key asset replacement and enhancement works across the London Fire Brigade (LFB) estate London Fire Commissioner (LFC) premises to avoid asset decline and meet the operational requirements from the estate. In addition, these works will support LFB to provide the best place to work and the training recommendations from the Her Majesty’s Chief inspector of Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS). This is the first of two papers on this subject.
