Top Management Group Salary Progression - 1 April 2020

This report recommends that salary progression for all eligible Top Management Group (TMG) members from 1 April 2020 is 2.5 per cent, or to the maximum of the band if less. Non-consolidated payments for eligible TMG staff at the maximum of their band to also be 2.5 per cent. This was agreed with Prospect, the trade union which represents TMG staff, and replaced a collective agreement which allowed for payments of up to 3.5 per cent for individual performance based salary progression.

Performance and Administration Management Solution (PAMS) - Contract award

This report seeks approval to award the contract for the purchase of a performance management administration system. The proposed contract award will ensure an appropriate software solution is provided to enable managers to create and monitor corporate, departmental and team plans, risk registers, business continuity activities and programme/project informaiton.

Records management and storage services – retendering

This report seeks approval to initiate re-tendering action for a contract to provide for the management and storage of Brigade records. The Brigade out-sourced its records management and storage arrangements when it moved to the Union Street HQ; records storage was previously a service provided and managed in-house with a records centre in the Rear Block at the former Brigade HQ.

New Cross Fire Station, Alterations to Facilitate Creation of Community Hub

This paper seeks permission to undertake alterations to New Cross Fire Station to facilitate the creation of a public community facility, and training facilities for Outreach, LiFE, and Fire Cadets. These proposed workd will utilise the existing station accommodation more efficiently and bring back into use areas that are presently not used, and realign the station accommodation to ensure secutiry is maintained between operational and public areas.
